If you have treated it with a sealant, then you should be okay.

If not, then the moisture from the snow can rot the wood. It would be very

the weight off, but the moisture as well.

Try building a better deck. It won't get messed up by snow. I

If you or who ever built the deck has varnished the deck and
pup
weather treated the deck, it will be just fine. I lived in Finland for

several years and the house I lived in had a wonderful deck, so dont worry

If you have water seal on it, there should not be any damage.

But you still need to sweep the snow as soon a possible so there won't be

any damage to the hardware. (screws, nails, etc.)

If the wood is not treated, eventually it will. When the snow

melts into water, it will be obsorbed in the wood. After awhile, the wood

will rot.

Treat the wood with a protectant like Behr

did you protect the deck with something like thompsons water
Honey Bear
seal, or is it weather treated wood? If so then you are likely OK.
