Can you use a fire pit on a wooden deck? If so what type of ?

NOOOOOOOOO!! Dont put it on your wood deck. The biggest
danger is a hot ember or spark that blows out of the fire pit and lands on
your deck, setting it on fire. Your local fire department could probably
tell you many horror stories of people who have had grills or fire pits
burn their house down after setting a deck on fire.
You might think about building a firepit into your deck. Much
safer and it looks high end.
I bought a terra cotta fire pit that sits on a wrought iron
stand. There is about 10-12 inches clearance. I also placed stepping
stones underneath for added protection.
i wouldn't to dangerous. but you can if you want.
i bought my fire pit at home depot it has to have the fire
retard-it liner to go under. it looks like a cabinet with a fire bowl on
the top of it. i've had it for two years use it at least 4 days a week.
its wonderful for several uses. get one they are well worth the money
